48 hours till the flight lifts off. I wanted to thank you all for taking the time to find and even purchase cars and little toys for the kids in east Africa. i will take pictures. Something to us may be so small but to the small children they are like gold.

GPS locations and instructions

To track my locations:
Go to google earth, download free software http://earth.google.com
Go to main menu
Click on "add"
Click on "placemark"
Enter name eg "jay day 3 " 
Enter Latitude and then longitude that I will provide.

(example I will give you LAT: 49.278215 N / LONG: 123.116215 W)
this will automatically convert to degrees, minutes and seconds for my exact location.

This will place a pin mark of where I am and revert back to the main picture of the globe
To zoom in to see the pin mark, double click on the globe once it appears.
This will zoom into my location.

Please try it out for fun - these coordinates above are my starting point in Vancouver.

Thank you for all the cars and dolls

Hello my wonderful friends. I want to thank you all for the small toys that were given and dropped off to me and at parkside victoria hotel.

I have so many toys my bag will overflow. I will make a point of taking video of the children when they receive there gift. It's the little things in life that make a difference. It's is 13 days till the trip. All my purchases have been made and now working in a new pair of of hiking boots. Looking forward to you all being part of the experience.

It really is a wonderful life.
